JANBA - Logo

The Japanese American National Bowling Association (JANBA) hosts an annual bowling tournament, which in 2026 will be held in Sacramento, CA. I was challenged to create a logo to place on different collateral pieces for this tournament (ie. shirts, pamphlets, official documents, etc.), that best represented not only the community, but also the location. With the city’s official flower being a camellia, my inspiration for this commission was centered around the Japanese Camellia.
